Unfortunately it rained pretty much all day on the fourth this year. It turned out OK, though. The
Driscoll's were feeling a little under the weather so it was good to stay home instead of going to
Williamsburg like we usually do. Even though we weren't feeling our best, we did stay somewhat active. We went to a picnic on Sunday at our friends the
Lauer's home. Adi always loves hanging out with her friend
Avra.
The kids kept cool with cold ice treats. Jonas made sure we knew that they had to be put in the freezer first. He's such a cutie.
The kids must have been in the pool for almost 2 hours. Maybe that's an
exaggeration but it really did feel like they were in there forever. Adi did not get a burn even though I completely forgot sunblock.
Erika is lighting a giant sparkler for Miss Adi. She was really cautious with them but had fun.
Here are the girls running around in the yard and the smoke kept the skeeters away too :)
